Chaussée de Vilvorde/ Vilvoordsesteenweg: redesign

Status : Terminé

This project involves the creation of a wide berm between the road and the cycle path on the Vilvoorde road, between number 152 and the Buda bridge. In order to create a wide berm and a larger pedestrian-cyclist walkway than the current cycle path, the current road base will be moved towards the buildings.
On the other side of the road, the project does not want to exclude any activity or development along the road. For this reason, the proposed design on the building side is restrained, with pavements and parking areas.

This project was implemented within the framework of the Brussels-Capital Region's ERDF operational programme, which supports initiatives to improve mobility in Brussels.

Within this framework, 50% of the budget for this project is covered by the European authorities and 50% by the Region.
