Many documents are available to public space planners to help them develop their projects. These include a guide with recommendations for making public spaces accessible to people with reduced mobility, a vade mecum for signposting cycle routes, a code for cycling infrastructure, standard specifications, and so on.
Specification for road works
The Standard Specifications for road works in the Brussels-Capital Region lay down the administrative and technical provisions for the execution of road works and the organisation of public spaces in the Brussels-Capital Region.
The first chapter (Chapter A) deals with the administrative provisions, while the technical provisions are divided into the following twelve chapters (Chapters B to M). Finally, the last section contains the (type) descriptive survey.
Following the new public procurement regulations, which entered into force on 30 June 2017, Chapter A - Administrative Section of the 2015 TB is currently being revised. It can therefore no longer be used in its current form, except as a reference for the points that were not amended.
