The accessibility of public transport to persons with reduced mobility is a priority for the Region. That is why Brussels Mobility is redesigning public spaces, including metro stations.
At the moment, 51 stations.pdf(PDF) (93.29 KB) are equipped in such a way that they can be reached up to the platforms without having to take thresholds or steps. The ambition is to make all 69 Brussels underground stations accessible in this way. To this end, a multiannual programme has been set up, making new stations accessible to PRMs every year.
